Disc Type Devices

Disc Type Devices include press-pack diodes and thyristors (SCR) designed for high-power, high-current industrial applications. The disc (press-pack) structure is clamped between heat sinks, providing excellent thermal performance, uniform current distribution, and high mechanical reliability.

Key Features & Applications

With very high current and voltage capability, these devices support series and parallel configurations for demanding power systems. Suitable for high-power rectifiers, medium- and high-voltage soft starters, HVDC transmission equipment, large motor drives, industrial furnaces, and heavy industry applications such as mining and metallurgy.
